By bus, take line 40 from the airport to the Costa Adeje bus station and change to a local TITSA service, or take a short taxi ride from there. From Tenerife North (TFN) allow a little over an hour.
La Enramada is the village beach, a mix of pebbles and sand where visitors stack stones into small towers along the shore. For soft sand, follow the coast path south to Playa del Duque, which has a 2026 Blue Flag, sunbeds and changing rooms. Several of the hotels also have their own sea-facing pools and lidos.
The village is all about eating by the sea: a short row of fish and seafood restaurants sits right on the water. A paved coast path links La Caleta with Playa del Duque and the rest of the Costa Adeje promenade, so you can reach the shops and bars on foot and come back to quiet. Evenings here are relaxed rather than lively.
