Beaches

La Jaquita in Alcalá has black volcanic sand, lifeguards, a children's area and sunbeds, and Playa San Juan's town beach also holds a 2026 Blue Flag. Good to know

Life here follows the villages: small harbours with fishing boats, a few bars and restaurants a short walk from the sea, and calm evenings. Abama is a self contained resort with golf. A car is handy for exploring, with Los Gigantes, Masca and Mount Teide all within reach. Swimmers like the natural pools along the coast between Alcalá and La Jaquita.
