Tenerife South (TFS) is about 20 minutes away by road, so transfers are quick. Line 40 runs from the airport to the Costa Adeje bus station, and line 343 links both airports with Los Cristianos via Costa Adeje. TITSA buses then run along the coast road through the resort. Taxis wait outside arrivals at all hours. From Tenerife North (TFN) allow about an hour by road.
The promenade strings together a row of sandy beaches. Playa del Duque has pale sand, sunbeds and changing rooms, and Torviscas lies a little further along past Fañabé; both fly the Blue Flag for 2026. The grey sand of the Troya beaches is at the Playa de las Américas end. Most hotels are a short walk from at least one of them.
The seafront promenade is the backbone of a stay: flat, busy and lined with cafés, and you can walk it from Playa del Duque towards Playa de las Américas. Siam Park, the water park, is in Costa Adeje, and the Barranco del Infierno ravine walk starts in the old town of Adeje up the hill, where the church and the Casa Fuerte are worth a look.
