Atlantic Mirage is an adults-only hotel for over-18s, built into the cliff at La Paz above the Atlantic. It was fully renovated and reopened in 2017, and almost every unit is a junior suite: 178 of them, plus three top-floor suites with a separate bedroom and a second bathroom. Every suite has a sea-view balcony, a microwave and a kettle, so slow mornings are easy.
The outdoor pool faces south towards Mount Teide and is heated to 26 degrees in winter. Up top, Vertigo Pool Club has jacuzzis and loungers for guests, and the Spacio10 spa downstairs runs a full water circuit with a flotarium, sauna and Turkish bath. Breakfast and dinner are buffets with sea views, and The Cliff serves a tasting menu at night. It suits couples who want calm, good views and a spa on site.
