GF Gran Costa Adeje is a 458-room, five-star resort on Avenida de Bruselas, the road that runs above Playa del Duque. The beach is 750 metres away, around ten minutes on foot, and Tenerife South airport is about 20 minutes by car.
It is built for families who want plenty going on. Two pools on the ground floor are open to everyone, with shallower pools for children, while the sixth floor has an adults-only pool for over-18s with views along Costa Adeje and its own Jungle and Attic bars. Children have the Mini Club and teenagers the Teen Club, and there are courts for squash, football and basketball as well as mini golf. The spa has a sauna, hydrotherapy pool and treatment rooms, and you can book anything from breakfast only to all inclusive. It suits families who also like a quiet corner of their own.
One pool is heated in winter. The rooftop adults-only pool includes a marked nudist area. Check-in is from 14:00.
