Gran Meliá Palacio de Isora is a large 5-star resort on the coast at Alcalá, on Tenerife's west side, facing La Gomera with Mount Teide behind. Its signature is the Infinity Pool: 5,000 m² of saltwater running out towards the Atlantic, part of about 7,500 m² of pools across the grounds.
The resort works on two levels. Families get the Mini-Club, with shows and live music in La Plaza Atlántica, plus a Baby-Club and babysitting at extra cost. RedLevel is a boutique hotel within the resort for guests aged 16 and over, with its own reception, garden, private pool, butler service and open bar. Everyone shares the Spa by Clarins with its thermal circuit and gym, tennis and padel courts, and nine restaurants: the Pangea Food Market buffet plus eight à la carte options covering Italian, Asian, Japanese and Mediterranean cooking. The fishing village of Alcalá and its small beaches are close by.
