H10 Tenerife Playa stands on Avenida de Colón, the seafront road of Puerto de la Cruz, directly facing the Lago Martiánez lido. The promenade, shops and restaurants of the town are right outside, and the room choice runs from basic doubles to sea-view rooms, family rooms over the pool and junior suites, with Privilege rooms recently refurbished.
There are two adult pools, one heated in winter, a children's pool, a jacuzzi and a garden with Balinese beds. The Blue Team runs aquagym, darts and games by day, with live music five nights a week and shows twice weekly. On the tenth floor, the Despacio beauty centre and the gym both look out to sea. Meals are at El Drago buffet, El Lagar by the pool and a themed à la carte. It suits sociable couples and families.
All-inclusive guests staying seven nights or more can swap one buffet dinner for the à la carte at El Lagar, booked a day ahead.
