Hacienda del Conde is a five-star hotel for guests aged 16 and over, set on the Buenavista golf course near the town of Buenavista del Norte, in the far northwest of Tenerife. The Atlantic is on one side and the cliffs and ravines of the Teno massif on the other, which makes this one of the greenest, quietest corners of the island and a world away from the southern resorts.

All 117 rooms are junior suites and suites, built in a colonial style around gardens. The YHI Spa has a thermal circuit and ten treatment cabins, and there is a gym and a cycling centre for those heading into the hills. Golfers have the course on the doorstep, and walkers can reach the Teno trails and Punta de Teno with a short drive. It suits couples looking for a peaceful, grown-up escape with golf, spa time and nature close by, rather than a beach holiday.
