Hard Rock Hotel Tenerife is a large five-star resort on the seafront at Playa Paraíso, with 624 rooms in two towers and the brand's music theme running through everything from the lobby to the rooftop. The Lagoon pool opens straight onto a dark-sand beach.

There are four pools in all, led by Splash for families, with a separate kiddie pool and games area, Eden for grown-ups wanting peace, with a swim-up bar and Bali beds, and the seafront Lagoon. Children are split by age into Club Lullaby (6 months to 3 years, paid), Roxity Kids Club (4 to 9) and Teen Spirit (10 to 16). Adults have the Rock Spa and Body Rock gym. Food runs from the Sessions buffet to Montauk steakhouse, Mexican at Suena Chido, Le Petit Chef and The 16th rooftop lounge. It suits families of all ages and couples who like a lively, high-energy resort.
