Roca Nivaria Gran Hotel is a five-star resort on the seafront at Playa Paraíso, at the quieter western edge of Costa Adeje. A lift takes guests straight down to a small cove, and the promenade is only a few metres away.
The hotel's standout is Azules de Nivaria, an 1,800 square metre spa looking out over the Atlantic. Outside there are two infinity pools, one heated to around 29°C all year, a heated children's pool and an outdoor jacuzzi. Families get a mini club for ages 4 to 12, a baby club from 10 months and the RoniAventura play area with wet and dry zones. Four restaurants cover buffet, Spanish, Italian and poolside dining, and there are tennis, a putting green and free underground parking. It suits families who want five-star comfort with plenty for children, and couples who mainly come for the spa.
