Hotel Puerto Palace is a four-star with 315 rooms in San Antonio, a residential area on the western side of Puerto de la Cruz. It is set in about 8,000 square metres of gardens, Plaza del Charco is around 2 km away and Playa Jardín a little less, with Loro Parque about 3 km off.
The grounds are the draw. There are four pools: one heated in winter, a children's pool, a natural-style pool with a waterfall and, on the roof, an adults-only naturist pool with its own jacuzzi. Add mini golf, a tennis court, volleyball, table tennis and badminton, plus a gym with classes and a massage centre. The buffet restaurant does breakfast and dinner with show cooking, and the pool and lobby bar shows sport, serves lunch and puts on live shows each week. Doubles and family rooms have balconies over the sea, pool or garden.
The rooftop terrace is an adults-only (18+) naturist area. The gym, massages and Pilates are run separately and cost extra.
