Hotel Tejuma is a small two-star with 20 rooms on Calle Pérez Zamora, one of the streets that climbs gently from the old town of Puerto de la Cruz. Plaza del Charco, the busy main square, is about five minutes' walk away, and the harbour and seafront are only a little further.

This is a modest, personal place rather than a resort. Its size means a quiet stay, and the location puts the town's cafés, restaurants, churches and seafront promenade within easy reach, with the bus station close by for day trips to La Orotava, La Laguna and the Teide road. Half board is sold with rooms. It suits couples, solo travellers and anyone who plans to spend most of the day out and wants an affordable, central room to return to.
