Hotel TRH Taoro Garden is a four-star with 182 rooms on Calle Dinamarca, a few steps from Parque Taoro, the green hillside park above Puerto de la Cruz. The town is about 800 metres away, the old town a few minutes beyond, and a hotel bus runs into the centre. It was fully renovated in 2017 and is aimed at adults, with the restaurants and main bar for guests aged 16 and over.
The heated outdoor pool is the daytime focus, with a poolside snack bar, a tennis court and billiards nearby, and there is a gym and massages. Food is a strong point: Drago serves buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner with show cooking and themed nights, Laurisilva offers set menus, and there is an à la carte room for Canarian cooking. Bar Teide has live music every night. Every room has a balcony or terrace.
Parking is available for a fee. Tenerife North airport is about 20 minutes by car. Daytime activities run Tuesday to Saturday.
