Route Active Hotel is built around outdoor sport. It sits in La Longuera, on the coastal side of Los Realejos just west of Puerto de la Cruz, close to the cliff-top Ruta 040 path, the north-coast surf beaches and the mountain-bike routes of the north. The front desk helps arrange hiking, cycling, surfing, diving and tandem paragliding.

Rooms are 40 m² with a lounge, a fitted kitchen and a balcony or terrace, many with side views of the sea or over the gardens. Premium rooms open onto rose gardens. The pool sits among native Canarian plants with a solarium beside it, and the gym has professional machines facing the gardens. A bike station lets you clean, repair and store your bike, and an on-site physiotherapist offers massage and treatment. The buffet restaurant does breakfast and dinner with a healthy slant. It suits cyclists, hikers and active couples who want practical rooms and a sporty crowd.
