Sol Arona Tenerife is a recently renovated Meliá hotel on Avenida Juan Carlos I, close to the centre of Los Cristianos and about 400 m from its sandy beach. Most rooms have a balcony or terrace with sea views, and the upper floor Xtra Sol rooms look across the bay towards La Gomera. Families can opt for rooms with a separate lounge.

Families are the core market. The pool area is large, with plenty of sunbeds and shade, and a children's pool with slides sits close by; the hotel lists a heated pool too.
