Spring Hotel Bitácora is a four-star family hotel on Calle California, in the centre of Playa de las Américas. Playa del Camisón and the surf spots along the seafront are a few minutes' walk away, and Tenerife South airport is about 20 minutes by car.

The hotel has six pools in all, heated in winter, including a slide pool, a children's pool and two family pools. Children have Springly World, a mini club and a games room with a daily programme of activities, while teenagers and grown-ups can shoot pool or listen to a DJ in The Box. Up on the roof, a terrace for over 18s has an infinity pool, jacuzzis and a lounge bar. Meals are at the Alegría buffet, and boards run from bed and breakfast to a premium all inclusive with branded drinks. A family spa and a Technogym gym complete the list. It suits families who want plenty to do without leaving the hotel.
