On our lists

Domes Baobab Suites is an all-suite resort on the slopes above Costa Adeje, run by the Domes Resorts group. The suites are the point: one, two and three bedrooms, many with sea views across the bay, and the top categories add a private pool or a jacuzzi on the terrace. The beach is about five minutes away by car, and a free daily transfer takes you down.

Food is spread across a breakfast buffet, a lounge bar with views over Adeje, a grill cooking over wood and charcoal, and a small kiosk for drinks. Soma Spa uses ELEMIS products, and the outdoor Actívate area runs yoga, Pilates and personal training. Children aged 4 to 12 have the free Saplings club. It suits families and groups who want apartment space with five-star service, and anyone happy to trade a beach on the doorstep for a quieter setting.
