Hotel Duque de la Torre is a carefully kept 18th-century house in the centre of Arona village, about 650 metres above sea level. It keeps the character of traditional Canarian building, with a central patio, stone walls, wooden beams and a garden. The beaches of the south and Playa de las Américas are about 15 minutes by car, and Tenerife South (TFS) about 20.
There are just nine rooms, each different and each with a private bathroom, from a stone and wood double to two-bedroom family suites for four. Some open straight onto the patio or garden, and one is fully accessible. A light buffet breakfast is included every day, there is a barbecue area, and the outdoor jacuzzi under a pergola is the place to unwind. It suits walkers, cyclists and couples who want village calm.
