It sits a few metres from the Casa de los Balcones and the Victoria Gardens, so the town's carved balconies, churches and steep cobbled streets are right outside.
There are 13 double rooms and one suite. Doubles come with satellite TV, minibar and a safe, superior doubles add views over the town, and the suite has a separate lounge and a king-size bed. A terrace looks over the rooftops towards the ocean. La Orotava is also one of the classic starting points for the drive up to Teide, and Puerto de la Cruz is a short trip down the valley.
