Hotel Ventus is a compact, modern hotel in the heart of El Médano, the relaxed surf town on Tenerife's southeast coast. It has 21 suites set up for working, with a desk area, plus three fully equipped apartments on the top floor with large terraces. Every room and apartment has a balcony or terrace and air conditioning.

It runs on a self-service model: you check in online, receive personal access codes and have a 24-hour WhatsApp contact rather than a staffed front desk. There is no breakfast, but cafés and restaurants fill the streets around it, and the beach is a few steps away. Tenerife South (TFS) is about seven minutes by car and the port at Los Cristianos about 15. It suits independent travellers, wind and kite sports fans and anyone wanting a simple base close to the airport.
