HOVIMA Atlantis is a six-floor apartment hotel on Avenida Colón, about 200 metres from the beach and close to the marina at Puerto Colón, where whale-watching and sailing trips set off. Shops, restaurants and the seafront promenade are all within walking distance, so a car is optional.
It has more than 250 studios and apartments with up to two bedrooms, all with a kitchen, which makes self-catering easy. Outside there are two adult pools, one heated in winter, plus a children's pool and a large solarium with gardens. A poolside snack bar handles drinks and light bites, and reception is open around the clock for excursions, car hire and tickets. It suits couples and families who like to come and go and cook some of their own meals.
On half board, meals are served at the restaurant of sister hotel HOVIMA Panorama nearby rather than on site. Parking costs extra. Check-in is from 3pm.
